Booker is recruiting a Transport Supervisor to lead a busy delivery operation in Tyne and Wear. You will manage drivers and pickers, drive daily targets, and maintain high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a small to medium sized team in warehouse or transport.
• Experience working in a customer focused environment.
• Management CPC would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Delivered Department complies with company policy and procedures.
• Ensure important management information is communicated to all relevant team members.
• Supervise and maintain a safe working environment for all colleagues and customers, reporting Health & Safety concerns to Store Management.
• Promote and drive brand image through product knowledge and excellent customer service while following company guidelines.
• Support the delivery manager to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.
• Supervise, plan and coordinate to complete tasks effectively and on time.
