Job summary

Currys plc is recruiting for a First Line Manager at our Bristol site. You will coach and motivate a team across delivery drivers, warehouse staff and support colleagues to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced distribution operation.

You’ll focus on developing people, driving performance, and ensuring safe, efficient daily operations at the Bristol Customer Service Centre. A proactive, hands-on leader will thrive here with opportunities to influence cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams with diverse roles
• Track record of developing teams to achieve customer-focused results
• Strong organisational skills to implement plans and priorities
• Excellent communication to liaise with multiple departments
• Ideally experience in logistics or transport environments

Responsibilities

• Oversee the running of the site, staffing and resources
• Motivate a team of delivery drivers, warehouse teams and support colleagues to hit targets
• Provide regular performance feedback to team members
• Influence operational decisions to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with internal and external departments for smooth operations
• Communicate with and deputise for the Operations Manager across functions
• Create a safe working environment in line with health and safety policies
