Job summary

Co-op Group in Manchester is seeking a Delivery Manager to join the Optimisation team within Co-op Business Services (CBS). The role is based in Manchester city centre with a hybrid pattern (two days home, three days office) and offers a salary of £52,000 to £58,000 per year plus excellent benefits.

You’ll lead improvement projects across CBS, identify opportunities to simplify processes, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver lasting value.

Qualifications

• Understanding of change delivery and how to make change successful.
• Experience using Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement approaches.
• Track record of identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify risks and issues early and take action to address them.
• Confidence in making decisions and prioritising competing demands.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to negotiate practical solutions.
• Collaborative approach, bringing people together to achieve shared goals.

• Lead improvement projects from start to finish, delivered on time, within budget, and making a real difference.
• Work closely with teams to understand what's working, what's not, and how we can do things better.
• Help people make good decisions by setting up clear ways to track progress and manage changes.
• Keep everyone in the loop with honest updates, including challenges, costs, or benefits.
• Build strong relationships across the business and become a go-to person for advice and support.
• Help us stay consistent in how we work and share good ideas across teams.
