Job summary

webdna Ltd is looking for an organised, pragmatic Delivery Manager to help us deliver brilliant work for our clients from Nottingham with hybrid working. You’ll own projects from discovery to launch, balance budgets, timelines and stakeholder expectations, and keep teams aligned to deliver value.

In this role you’ll collaborate across delivery, development, design and marketing, supported by the Head of Delivery and fellow Delivery Managers. A varied, hands-on opportunity in a dynamic agency.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects, defining clear scopes, goals, milestones, timings and responsibilities
• Keep projects moving, coordinating people, tasks and resources and following up when something needs attention
• Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact throughout a project
• Lead project meetings, making sure conversations result in clear decisions, actions and next steps
• Keep a close eye on budgets, forecasts, timings and risks, spotting potential problems early and finding practical ways to address them
• Maintain clear, useful project documentation, including plans, status updates and risk registers
• Keep clients and the wider team informed, particularly when priorities, timings or requirements change
• Work closely with developers, designers, marketers and other Delivery Managers to remove blockers and help people do their best work
• Support QA and UAT to make sure what we deliver meets both client expectations and our own standards
• Know when you can make a decision and keep things moving, and when something needs input or sign-off from the Head of Delivery
• Build positive relationships with external suppliers and partners where they're involved in delivery
• Get to know our clients and their businesses, spotting opportunities where we could help them further
• Look for ways to improve how we plan, communicate and deliver work, rather than simply following a process because that's how it's always been done
