Unisys is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead strategic transformation engagements. This role involves overseeing program execution, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring project outcomes align with client visions. The successful candidate will have significant experience in program management, leadership, and stakeholder communication, driving high-quality results.
DWS Transformation Services delivers the capabilities and transformational outcomes from our portfolio which enables customers to break through barriers. The Delivery Manager is responsible for managing strategic Transformation Services engagements to achieve the desired outcomes. This role establishes a foundation for, and subsequently delivers, the agreed-upon transformation outcomes to realize our clients' visions.
Overview:
Program Leadership: lead all aspects of the program. This is a leadership role. Drives team behaviours aligned to Unisys winning culture values. Ultimately this role is accountable for ensuring strategic transformation outcomes are achieved to bring our clients visions to reality.
Stakeholder Management: Demonstrates expertise in managing relationships with C-suite and senior management, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and facilitating effective communication.
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate with key project stakeholders during all project phases.
Risk Management: Effectively manages engagement risks, identifying and promptly notifying senior management of the potential impact of such risks and mitigation strategies.
Financial Management: Oversee program budgets, including cost and revenue, and effectively manage and execute strategic internal investment programs to achieve Return on Investment (ROI) targets as set forth in business cases.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on program progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions as necessary.
Demonstrates expertise in managing cross-functional matrix teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient achievement of project goals.
Manages financials and operational metrics for multiple or large engagements.
Ability to effectively manage internal projects is crucial for optimizing operational efficiency and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
Develops comprehensive IT delivery plans and strategies designed to align with organizational goals, improve margins and enhance client satisfaction.
Consistently achieves or exceeds engagement revenue, margin, service level objectives and quality targets.
Participates in new business opportunities and add-on opportunities that result in profitable revenue growth within the client.
Manages the performance of internal and external service providers in order to ensure the implementation of deliverables and resulting client satisfaction. Interfaces with sub-contractors.
May write accurate and effective statements of work so that both the client and Unisys staff understands the project expectations and roles.
May create change orders when additional work is required is outside the original contracted scope and/or services proposal.
Demonstrates expertise in managing cross-functional matrix teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient achievement of project goals.
Manages and leads a span up to 35 associates (direct or matrixed), including their training, development, performance and career path.
Advocates and models a strong focus on performance management, development, career growth, engagement, and diversity within the practice.
Attracts and appropriately motivates professionals to achieve or exceed growth, productivity and profitability targets.
Works with Unisys recruiting to maintain a pipeline of outside experienced professionals.
Provides appropriate mentoring, feedback, training and development opportunities to help individuals within the practice reach their full potential.
Responsible for managing a P&L up to $5M in services value.
Develop and maintain relationships with senior key stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the delivery.
Serve as the primary customer interface regarding engagement execution.
Consistently delivers high value, "client ready" work with minimal supervision.

Understands the meaning and implications of key financial indicators. Analyses, integrates and utilizes financial data to accurately diagnose business realities, to identify issues and to develop strategies and plans.
Maintains absolute integrity while balancing the potentially conflicting objectives of exceeding client expectations for quality and value, appropriately developing professionals within his/her practice, and achieving Unisys financial objectives.
Utilizes a collaborative working style that stresses teamwork and places the best interests of Unisys over individual and team objectives.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
University degree or equivalent education and experience.
At least 8+ years of professional service experience managing a projects and programs.
Relevant experience within a managed services business.
Relevant industry certifications preferable.
