Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions in Northstowe is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of shipping, logistics, and delivery coordination within a fast-paced distribution environment. You will work with production, sales and management to ensure orders and materials reach clients accurately and on schedule.

Candidates with shipping, warehousing or transport experience, strong organisational skills, and good IT literacy are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Background in shipping, transport, warehousing, or operational logistics preferred.
Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with prioritisation in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer literacy and confidence using transport or inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement to liaise with customers, drivers and internal teams.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn product ranges and processes.

Responsibilities

Delivery Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate with production teams to schedule transport, manage delivery timelines, and ensure deadlines are met.
Customer & Internal Liaison: Communicate with sales, management, drivers and external clients to facilitate smooth product delivery.
Logistics Record & Data Management: Maintain shipment records, track schedules, and monitor inventory movements.
Safety & Operational Compliance: Ensure site procedures and transport safety protocols are followed.
