Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions in Northstowe is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of shipping, logistics, and delivery coordination within a fast-paced distribution environment. You will work with production, sales and management to ensure orders and materials reach clients accurately and on schedule.

Candidates with shipping, warehousing or transport experience, strong organisational skills, and good IT literacy are encouraged to apply.

• Basic computer literacy and confidence using transport or inventory management systems.

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn product ranges and processes.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate with production teams to schedule transport, manage delivery timelines, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Customer & Internal Liaison: Communicate with sales, management, drivers and external clients to facilitate smooth product delivery.
• Logistics Record & Data Management: Maintain shipment records, track schedules, and monitor inventory movements.
• Safety & Operational Compliance: Ensure site procedures and transport safety protocols are followed.

Working closely with production, sales, and senior management, you will play a vital role in streamlining everyday transport operations, ensuring orders and materials reach commercial clients accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• - Delivery Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate directly with production teams to schedule transport, manage delivery timelines, and ensure customer deadlines are consistently met.
• - Customer & Internal Liaison: Communicate proactively across internal sales and management teams, drivers, and external clients to facilitate smooth, efficient product delivery and maximise daily operational output.
• - Logistics Record & Data Management: Maintain detailed shipment records, track delivery schedules, monitor inventory movements, and utilise logistics systems to maintain data accuracy.
• - Safety & Operational Compliance: Ensure all site procedures, transport safety protocols, and company policies are strictly adhered to, promoting a safe working environment at all times.
