DW Search Ltd. is working with a global financial markets technology organisation to appoint a Delivery Lead for a major re-platforming programme.

The role focuses on coordinating delivery across several engineering workstreams and ensuring milestones, risks and dependencies are aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate with engineering leads, architects and senior stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum, manage risks and forecast resource needs.

• Identify and resolve delivery blockers, managing dependencies across teams and stakeholders.
• Drive Agile delivery practices, ensuring teams are working effectively and maintaining momentum.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, providing clear communication on delivery progress, risks and priorities.
• Support planning, resource allocation and delivery forecasting across engineering teams.
• Ensure delivery commitments are met while maintaining engineering quality and operational stability.

We’re working with a specialist technology consultancy looking for a Delivery Lead to support a major re-platforming programme at a global financial markets technology organisation.

The programme is focused on modernising the systems responsible for processing and distributing real-time financial market data. This involves delivering complex software engineering initiatives across business-critical platforms that support global financial markets.

This is a delivery leadership role, working closely with engineering teams, technical leads and senior stakeholders to drive the successful execution of the programme. You'll be responsible for coordinating delivery across multiple workstreams, managing dependencies and ensuring teams are delivering against agreed objectives.

What they’re looking for

• Strong experience as a Delivery Lead, Delivery Manager or Technical Delivery Manager
• Proven track record delivering complex software engineering programmes
• Experience leading delivery across multiple engineering teams and technical workstreams
• Strong understanding of software engineering processes, the SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies
• Experience managing delivery plans, dependencies, risks and stakeholder expectations
• Comfortable working closely with software engineers, technical leads and architects
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Experience delivering platform modernisation, re-platforming or large-scale technology transformation programmes
• Financial services, capital markets or market data experience would be beneficial
