Job summary

nudge is seeking a Delivery Lead in London Victoria (Hybrid) to translate ambitious product plans into reliable software. You will enable technology teams to deliver high-quality releases, balancing speed with risk management and stakeholder alignment.

As part of the platform group, you will coordinate cross-functional activities, drive governance, and mentor teams to continuously improve delivery practices while communicating progress to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in an agile delivery role (e.g., Scrum Master or Delivery Lead).
• Strong stakeholder management, aligning product, engineering and business priorities.
• Experience using Jira to plan work, manage dependencies and report progress.
• Excellent facilitator, confident in leading effective meetings and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery across a multi-functional technology team to weekly releases and milestones.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, plan sessions, workshops and cross-functional meetings.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to estimate technical initiatives and align with priorities.
• Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle from planning to production release and post-production support.
• Support the Head of Platform in defining and managing delivery roadmaps.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee software releases across environments, ensuring timelines and risk alignment
• Establish governance with go/no-go criteria and change controls
• Coordinate testing, approvals, and stakeholder sign-off for each release cycle
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks related to delivery
• Ensure transparency of release schedules and impacts through reporting
• Align scope, goals, and priorities with product managers, engineers and wider tech team
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Communicate progress, blockers, and outcomes to senior stakeholders

Role Purpose

As Delivery Lead, you'll help turn ambitious product plans into reality by enabling our technology teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software that makes a meaningful difference to our users.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery across a multi-functional technology team to deliver weekly releases to short, medium and long-term milestones
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, deliver planning sessions, workshops and cross-functional meetings.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to estimate technical initiatives, ensuring delivery plans are realistic, achievable and aligned with business priorities.
• Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle from planning and estimation to release to production and post-production support
• Support the Head of Platform in defining and managing detailed delivery and release roadmaps
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee software releases across environments, ensuring alignment with business timelines and risk appetite
• Establish and enforce robust release governance processes, including go/no-go criteria, change controls, and rollback plans
• Coordinate testing, approvals, and stakeholder sign-off for each release cycle
• Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks related to delivery and releases
• Ensure visibility and transparency of release schedules and impacts through regular communications and reporting
• Work closely with product managers, engineers and wider tech team to align on scope, goals, and priorities
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Communicate regularly and clearly with senior stakeholders on progress, blockers, and outcomes

Skills and Experience

To help you do all this, you will need:

• Experience working in an agile delivery role (Scrum Master, Delivery Lead or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align product, engineering and business priorities
• Experience using Jira to plan work, manage dependencies and report on delivery progress
• You are an excellent facilitator, confident in leading effective meetings and workshops
