Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in the North West is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through handover, ensuring safety, programme, cost and quality targets are met on site.

You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors and the commercial team, maintain client relationships, and deliver regular progress reports while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous construction project management experience.
• Strong programme and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and construction best practice.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Prepare, monitor and update project programmes and short-term works plans.
• Coordinate Site Managers, labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and take corrective action where required.
• Manage project risks, opportunities and resources.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Provide regular progress reports and project updates.
• Work closely with the commercial team on variations, costs, forecasting and contractual matters.
• Ensure high standards of health & safety and quality throughout the project.
• Lead and support site-based teams.
• Manage project documentation, handover and close-out.
