Job summary

Google Cloud seeks an experienced Senior Program Manager to oversee enterprise cloud programmes and coordinate global delivery. The role involves aligning delivery roadmaps with business value, working with executives, and ensuring transparent communication across technical and business stakeholders.

You will travel to Milan extensively to engage with stakeholders, while also coordinating London-based activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
• Experience in program management in environments using Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies.
• Ability to travel 80% of the time to Milan for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and coordination of GCP programmes at engagements, including management of benefit realization and coordination of new capabilities to enable effective change and deliver projected benefits.
• Provide strong delivery leadership, developing trusted customer relationships - to C-suite/Board level - defining and aligning delivery and business value OKRs and shared delivery roadmaps.
• Manage communications with all stakeholders (technical and business), providing transparency across the engagement, visibility of progress against desired outcomes and timely updates ensuring ‘no surprises.'
• Build a high performing Delivery team, across functions/locations; breaking down large, complex problems into manageable chunks; enabling delivery by creating clarity from ambiguity, structuring/sequencing to maximize value and remaining open minded to pivot if needed.
• Define criteria for control and management of deliveries, advocate delivery and process excellence, seek and implement continuous improvements.

• Experience in planning and delivering cloud solutions in Public Cloud (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) or hybrid environments.
• Experience in account management, client service, or management consulting with experience in working with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party teams to deliver cloud centric solutions.
• Ability to grow in evolving and ambiguous environments.
