Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking flexible post person with driving responsibilities for Royal Mail. The role covers driving a Royal Mail van and delivering items across your local area, with a mix of on-foot and on-vehicle duties.

Ideal candidates hold a full UK manual driving licence, can walk extensively, and adapt to shifting schedules. This is a temporary, part-time opportunity offering varied shifts and outdoor activity.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points; you’ll be driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.
• Drive your delivery area and complete parts of your route on foot, providing exceptional service.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle materials in line with Royal Mail standards.
