Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll drive Royal Mail vans, delivering letters and parcels across your community, and staying active throughout the day. You’ll need a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, be prepared to walk long distances, and be flexible to variable shifts.

Pass a driving assessment on start. Pay rates vary by shift: Day £13.69/hr, Dawn £14.61/hr, Early shifts £14.61/hr, Evening £14.38/hr, Late

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk long distances and handle a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts vary and require team orientation and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across assigned routes, including some walking.
• Operate a Royal Mail delivery van and ensure secure, timely delivery.
