Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine while staying active in your day.

The role blends driving a delivery van with on-foot work across parts of your route, requires a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, and a willingness to adapt to changing shifts. Training is provided to get you started.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Ability to walk long distances and lift mailbags up to 16kg.
• Willingness to work variable shifts on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to households and businesses on your route.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and occasionally deliver on foot parts of the route.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items per Royal Mail standards.
