Royal Mail in St Helens is hiring flexible Delivery Drivers who will also serve as Post Persons with Driving. You will deliver letters and parcels, drive a Royal Mail van, and walk parts of your route to ensure timely deliveries.

Conditions include full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points, the ability to walk up to 20,000 steps daily, and adaptability to varying shifts. A driving assessment is part of onboarding and guaranteed hours are offered during the season.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsabilités

• As a Post Person with Driving, you'll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.
• You'll drive your delivery area and complete parts of your route on foot, ensuring items reach their destination safely.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
