Job summary

Royal Mail Delivery Driver role in Sale with Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels across your route and occasionally walking parts of the route to ensure timely, accurate delivery.

Shifts vary and you must be flexible; a full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points is required, along with the ability to walk long distances and lift bags up to 16 kg. A driving assessment is part of the start process.

Qualifications

• Driving licence required: full, manual UK licence with up to 6 points.
• Physical fitness: able to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, including occasional items requiring special handling.
• Drive Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot as needed.
• Ensure items reach their destination safely and securely, in all weather conditions.
• Pass a driving assessment on start and maintain high service standards.
