Job summary

Angard Staffing is recruiting Royal Mail Delivery Drivers to cover routes in Port Ellen and surrounding areas. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels, and walk parts of your route on foot as required.

A full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points and good physical fitness are essential. This temporary role offers varied shifts with pay rates, potential for permanent status, and benefits including a discretionary bonus, 4 weeks’ paid holiday, pension contributions,

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk portions of the route and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require team flexibility at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot as part of your route.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, providing excellent service.
• Ensure items are delivered safely and on time, following Royal Mail standards.
