Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic Post Persons with Driving to join our Port Talbot delivery team. You will drive a Royal Mail van on routes, deliver letters and parcels, and be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering with care come rain or shine.

Expect shifts that fit around your lifestyle, with guaranteed hours during peak periods. A full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required, plus the stamina to walk long distances and carry up to 16 kg as part of daily

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a 16 kg mailbag.
• Shifts can vary; flexible to short-notice changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels around your delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and walk parts of the route.
• Ensure items reach destinations safely and on time.
• Handle and deliver election materials and regulated items per policy.
