Job summary

Pipe Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Delivery Driver 7.5t for Oxford Botley (OX2 0LS). The role involves delivering boilers and radiators to customer sites, driving a 7.5t vehicle, and completing 8–10 drops daily in Oxford and surroundings.

You will perform daily vehicle checks and may assist in the warehouse with unloading and stock duties. The position is permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30–16:30.

Qualifications

• A class 1 driving license.
• CPC and digital tachograph.

Responsibilities

• Delivering various items such as boilers and radiators to customers' sites and building sites.
• Driving a 7.5t vehicle.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Complete from 8 to 10 drops a day within Oxford and surrounding areas.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of items loading and unloading them from vehicles.
• Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks, and general tidying.

• Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial though not essential.
• Previous multi-drop driving experience with a can-do attitude.
