Job summary

Ideal Bathrooms, part of the Wolseley Group, is looking for a Delivery Driver 3.5T in Wakefield. You’ll deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses, provide excellent customer service, and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while complying with health and safety checks.

This is a full-time, 50-hour week (Monday to Friday) with a competitive salary plus bonus and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous multi-drop driving experience would be ideal.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Basic vehicle knowledge - ability to perform defect checks.
• Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
• Offer excellent customer service at all times.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand.
• Ensure all Health and Safety aspects are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load and reporting any defects.

As a Delivery Driver 3.5T based in Wakefield you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offer excellent Customer Service at all time
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects

This is a full-time, permanent role working 50 hours per week Monday to Friday.
