Job summary

Plumb Centre in Chelmsford is hiring a Delivery Driver 7.5T to join our team. You will deliver to customers and building sites across Essex, with 5-10 multi-drop runs per day and an early start.

You will load/unload, perform daily vehicle checks, and assist in the warehouse with stock and packing. A full UK driving licence and CPC training are required; multidrop experience preferred, and excellent communication is essential.

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• CPC training completed.
• Previous multidrop driving experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5t vehicle and delivering items to customers and building sites in Essex and surrounding area.
• 5–10 multi-drop deliveries per day.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Assisting in the warehouse with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

• Driving a 7.5t vehicle and delivering items to our customers and building sites in Essex and the surrounding area.
• You will be involved in 5-10 multi-drop deliveries per day.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 07:00am - 16:00pm with 1hrs break. No weekend work required.

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• A digital taco card and to have completed your CPC training.
• Previous multidrop driving is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
