Job summary

Plumb Centre in the Chelmsford area is hiring a Delivery Driver 7.5T to join our team. You will drive a 7.5t vehicle, deliver to customers and building sites across Essex and nearby areas, maintaining professionalism and safety.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:00–16:00 with a 1-hour break, no weekend work. A Full UK driving licence and CPC training are required, and multidrop experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• A digital taco card and to have completed your CPC training.
• Previous multidrop driving is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5t vehicle and delivering items to our customers and building sites in Essex and the surrounding area.
• You will be involved in 5 10 multi-drop deliveries per day.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.
