Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited, operating through Plumb Centre in Hartlepool, seeks a part-time Delivery Driver (3.5t) for 20 hours per week, primarily mornings. You will deliver plumbing and heating supplies to customers in the local area and help with branch duties as required.

Part Time Delivery Driver 3.5t - Hartlepool - Plumb Centre - 20 hours

Our branches are open Monday to Saturday (Sat. mornings only). This vacancy is for 20 hours (4 hrs/day), Mornings. Working pattern will be discussed at interview stage.

We are Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group - a leading specialist trade merchant across the UK and Ireland that puts customers at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area
• Build strong relationships with our customers
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure everything is safe and ready to go
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling
• Support with warehouse duties when you’re back from deliveries, including unloading stock, picking & packing orders and carrying out stock checks

Requirements

• So, if you’re over the age of 18 and have got:
• A full clean UK Driving Licence
• Previous multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential
• A genuine desire to be a team player, willing to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
