Job summary

Ideal Bathrooms, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting a Delivery Driver 3.5T based in Wakefield. The role involves delivering a wide range of items to various addresses, providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong relationships with customers while upholding health and safety standards.

The position is full-time, with a 50-hour week Monday to Friday, and offers a competitive salary with bonus and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous multi-drop driving experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Basic vehicle knowledge to perform defect checks.
• Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and via different routes.
• Provide excellent Customer Service at all times.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers to be a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand.
• Carry out daily vehicle, equipment and load checks and report any defects.

As a Delivery Driver 3.5T based in Wakefield you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Offer excellent Customer Service at all time
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
