Job summary

Bidfresh in Colchester is seeking a Delivery Driver to handle multi-drop deliveries across your route, delivering fresh ingredients safely and on time. You will interact with customers at each stop and uphold Bidfresh standards on every delivery.

As the face of Bidfresh, you will build strong customer relationships, perform vehicle checks, and ensure orders are loaded, delivered and recorded accurately while maintaining brand integrity on the road.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (up to 3.5 tonnes).
• Previous delivery driver experience is beneficial.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good literacy, numeracy and basic IT skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries across route.
• Deliver fresh and multi-temperature food products safely and on time.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery.
• Build relationships with customers and represent Bidfresh.
• Load and unload products safely.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Follow delivery schedules with high accuracy.
• Ensure deliveries comply with food safety standards.

Join Bidfresh as a Delivery Driver and play a key role in getting fresh ingredients to restaurants, pubs, hotels and catering customers across your route. You'll complete multi-drop deliveries, provide great service at each stop and help make sure our customers receive their orders safely, accurately and on time.

This is more than a driving role. You'll be the face of Bidfresh, meeting customers every day, building strong relationships and making sure every delivery is handled with care. What you’ll be doing

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to customers across your route
• Delivering fresh and multi-temperature food products safely and on time
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
• Building strong relationships with customers and representing the Bidfresh brand professionally
• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Following delivery schedules while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Making sure all deliveries are completed in line with company and food safety standards

What we’re looking for

• Full UK Driving Licence (up to 3.5 tonnes)
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Van Driver or similar role is beneficial
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good literacy, numeracy and basic IT skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service
