Job summary

Kelly Rail is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support civils and cabling workstreams within a fast-paced network build environment. You will work closely with project managers, site agents, and clients to coordinate works through to completion.

You will review and approve job packs, schedule activities, and provide regular updates via the client CRM, ensuring delivery targets are met and issues are resolved promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in civils engineering or telecoms.
• Knowledge of civils and cabling activities.
• Understanding of Streetworks processes and permits.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Experience coordinating across multiple departments and workstreams.
• Ability to challenge constructively and escalate issues where required.
• Delivery focused mindset.
• High level of accountability and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve newly uploaded job packs on the internal database, raising civils work orders, and submitting for Traffic Management validation.
• Submitting DFE’s to the client for Traffic Management costs or any missing rates identified within the job pack
• Coordinating the scheduling of both civils and cabling activities, ensuring timelines are aligned and delivered in coordination.
• Recording and sharing job updates with the client through their CRM system at least every 5 days to provide full visibility of order progress.
• Participating in weekly teams calls with the client, providing updates on non-fluid works and driving resolution of any issues.
• Collaborating with civils site agents and Principal Design Engineers (PDE’s) to support with the resolution of site related issues.
• Proactively following up with internal departments to resolve issues promptly and ensure orders continue progressing without delay.
• Effectively manage email correspondence by monitoring incoming messages, prioritising queries and responding promptly and professionally to ensure timely communication with clients and colleagues.
