Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Project Manager to oversee Self Delivery civils works in West London on a prestigious High Speed rail project. The candidate should have a strong civils background with experience in a Self delivery Sub contractor environment.

Key duties include coordinating in-house labour, plant and materials, controlling costs, driving short-term programmes, enforcing RAMS and safety inductions, and ensuring drawings and ITPs are properly signed off.

Qualifications

• Direct resource management of in-house labour, plant and materials.
• Control costs including plant hire and material usage.
• Drive short-term schedules and monitor output against master programme.
• Enforce RAMS and safety inductions in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure work matches drawings and sign-off ITPs.

The successful candidate will have a strong civils background with experience working in a Self delivery Sub contractor environment.

Duties Include:

• Direct Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate in-house labour, plant, and materials to maximise daily site productivity.

• Commercial & Cost Control: Track daily operational costs, plant hire, and material usage, and record scope variations

• Programme Delivery: Drive short-term operational schedules (e.g., 3-week look-aheads) and monitor daily output in line with the main contractor's master programme.

• Strict Safety & Compliance: Enforce site-specific health and safety protocols (RAMS, daily briefings, inductions) and ensure all direct operatives comply with industry regulations.

• Quality & Technical Assurance: Ensure work matches engineering drawings and specifications, and manage the quality sign-off processes (ITPs)

This role is paid CIS or LTD Outside IR35
