About The Role And Team

We’re elevating our Delivery practice and seeking a Delivery Director to lead it. You’ll have proven success in scaling a practice supporting a £50m–£100m client portfolio, setting standards for client experience and delivery excellence, and driving outstanding outcomes.

You’re an experienced delivery practice leader, adept at team design, capability mapping, and hands-on leadership, embodying servant leadership principles. You have a strong point of view on delivery methodologies, both agile and traditional, and will shape our delivery framework based on your consultancy experience.

You enjoy engaging with clients, both pre-sales and during project delivery, building deep understanding of their business and nurturing C-suite relationships. You’re comfortable challenging opinions, providing strategic guidance, and solving complex problems, having delivered large enterprise-scale programs.

As a coach, mentor, and natural leader, you can set direction and support your team to deliver. You collaborate well with commercial teams and other directors to develop our client experience strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Defining our delivery strategy and building the team to meet current and future needs.
• Supporting multiple complex client engagements with your delivery expertise.
• Driving the delivery of our framework, ensuring quality across projects of varying complexity and scale.
• Coaching Delivery Principals and Managers.
• Removing blockers and acting as a primary contact for client escalations, working towards solutions.
• Identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Supporting pre-sales activities, including proposals, RFPs, pitches, SOWs, and team shaping.
• Modeling a delivery-focused mindset, emphasizing outcomes and predictability through metrics.
• Acting as an Agile Coach and mentor internally and externally, enhancing the department’s capabilities.

• Are a seasoned Delivery Director with experience managing a £50m+ portfolio across multiple sectors.
• Have extensive consultancy experience.
• Excel at enabling highly skilled, cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
• Have managed multi-million-pound programs.
• Proven experience applying modern agile methods in fast-paced environments.

This is a hybrid role. We’re looking for candidates near our hubs in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, or London, who are flexible to travel to client sites and regional offices. We trust you to manage your schedule to balance face-to-face and remote work.
