Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Darlington, United Kingdom, is seeking a Driver's Mate to support two-person deliveries of Next Home furnishings and ensure safe, on-time handovers. You will help load/unload items up to 120kg, provide excellent customer service, and act as a brand ambassador for DHL and Next at every delivery.

This permanent, full-time role includes training, a competitive pay rate of £33,325.98, and a benefits package, with opportunities to grow within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling throughout the day.
• Experience in home delivery, warehouse or retail is a plus.
• Customer-facing role with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Next Home furnishings as part of a two-person team to customers' homes.
• Assist with loading, unloading and safe handling of items from 5kg to 120kg.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as a brand ambassador for DHL and Next.
• Update delivery status using handheld technology and coordinate with the driver.
