Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking reliable Van Drivers for roles in Glasgow (G21 1AA). You will operate 3.5t vans on planned routes between mail centres, local businesses and customers, with daily vehicle checks and timely deliveries.

Full UK Cat B licence required and familiarity with road transport regulations. Role offers varied shifts, competitive hourly pay (£13.69–£16.44) and ongoing temporary work within a nationwide logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Cat B driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year of van driving experience in a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 3.5t vehicles on planned routes between mail centres, local businesses and customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with the operations team.
• Follow all road transport regulations, health and safety rules and company policies.
• Handle multiple drops per shift as per route assignment.
