Qualifications

Completed high school diploma or GED or currently pursuing it.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in management in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service by greeting customers, offering assistance, suggesting alternatives and thanking them for shopping.
Maintain freshness and proper product handling; assist in controlling damages and minimizing losses.
Assist Deli Manager with merchandising, ad execution, associate engagement and customer service; coordinate plans to ensure stock levels and freshness.
Oversee inventories by tracking weekly sales, product orders and supplies for period-end inventory.
Review schedules and labor costs; assist with training and developing associate talent.
Audit procedures for receiving, pricing, stock levels, sanitation and labeling; enforce proper record keeping.
Ensure compliance with sanitation, health, safety, weights and measures, and labeling laws; complete required product logs.
Maintain smooth workflow by collaborating with coworkers and supervisors; strive to improve performance.
Perform staff duties as required and other tasks as requested by management.
