Job summary

Beazley is seeking a Delegated Operations Manager within Beazley Shared Services – Underwriting and Claims Operations. You will oversee delegated authorities including third-party binders and master policies, ensuring adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements.

You will lead the Delegated Operations team, drive continuous improvement, coordinate audits, and maintain documentation, reporting to Head of Delegated Operations. This role requires strong people management and governance focus.

Qualifications

• Educated to A level or equivalent.
• Degree in any discipline – preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a Lloyd’s insurance environment beneficial.
• Knowledge of delegated business vital.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team with regular catch ups and appraisals.
• Train and coach team members; manage performance.
• Ensure staff deliverables meet SLAs and quality standards.
• Coordinate audit planning and execution for coverholders and DCAs.
• Maintain documentation and consistency of processes across the function.
• Provide management reporting and liaison with governance committees.
• Support continuous improvement across Delegated Operations.
