New Vacancy - Delegated Authority Analyst

I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Insurer seeking a Delegated Authority Analyst to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in DA, Governance, and MI to support the Underwriting & Claims functions. Responsibilities include overseeing, monitoring, and auditing DA arrangements, as well as preparing MI data packs for Underwriting/Claims processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to prepare delegated authority proposals for approval.
  2. Manage and audit delegated authority agreements, including issue resolution and governance oversight.
  3. Prepare MI reports and presentation packs for committees and working groups.
  4. Develop data reports using Excel, designing and generating MI.
  5. Contribute to data control initiatives within MedPro.
  6. Track premium development relative to Estimated Premium Income (EPI).
  7. Partner with relevant teams to ensure timely and accurate data receipt and quality assurance.
  8. Ensure contract amendments are accurately reflected, working with Legal for escalation and resolution.
  9. Monitor contractual SLAs and escalate non-compliance issues.
  10. Draft and manage Letters of Authority, monitoring compliance and exceptions.
  11. Participate in broader business initiatives and projects.
