Job description

We have an opportunity for a Delegated Authority Analyst to join our Delegated Authority department at Tokio Marine Kiln. You will report to the Senior Delegated Authority Analyst and will be responsible for managing the approval of new Delegated Authority relationships (Coverholders and DCA’s) and ensuring compliance with TMK’s and Lloyd’s Coverholder Standards.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

1. Managing, administering, and conducting due diligence for existing Coverholders and DCA’s.
2. Managing the process for new Coverholders from initial notification through to internal and Lloyd’s approval.
3. Conducting contract reviews to ensure compliance with TMK standards and appropriate clauses, including Binding Authority Agreements, Lineslips, and Consortiums.
4. Communicating developments in delegated authority business to relevant stakeholders.
5. Administering run-off procedures at the end of a binding authority.
6. Representing DA on internal working groups as appropriate.
7. Representing TMK at market forums as appropriate.
8. Providing exception reports and ad-hoc reports as required.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Lloyd's market and Delegated Authorities, a process-driven mindset, and strong communication and relationship-building skills. A clear understanding of the company's risk appetite in terms of delegated authority, conduct, and financial crime is essential.
