New Vacancy - Delegated Authority Analyst

I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Insurer seeking a Delegated Authority Analyst to join their growing team.

My client is looking for someone with strong experience in DA, Governance, and MI to support the wider Underwriting & Claims function. Responsibilities include overseeing, monitoring, and auditing DA arrangements and preparing MI data packs for Underwriting/Claims processes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to prepare new and renewal delegated authority proposals for submission to the Delegated Underwriting and Product Oversight Group.
2. Oversee daily management, monitoring, and auditing of delegated authority agreements, including issue resolution, escalation, reporting, logging, and governance.
3. Prepare MI reports and presentation packs for underwriting and claims committees and working groups.
4. Develop and generate data reports using Excel, including the design of MI reports.
5. Contribute to initiatives improving MedPro's data control and staging environments.
6. Track premium development in relation to Estimated Premium Income (EPI).
7. Partner with underwriting, claims, and other Group entities to ensure timely receipt and quality of bordereaux and financial data.
8. Ensure contract amendments by underwriting and claims are reflected accurately in relevant agreements, working with Legal to escalate and resolve issues.
9. Monitor contractual SLAs, including those with coverholders, and escalate non-compliance.
10. Draft and manage Letters of Authority, monitoring compliance and exceptions.
11. Participate in broader business initiatives and cross-functional projects.
