Babcock International invites you to join a five-year Electro-Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship, earning a degree while developing real-world skills with experienced engineers on defence projects.

You’ll study for a BEng (Hons) through a university partner, progress through increasing responsibility on submarines, surface ships, and communications tech, and gain hands-on electrical and mechanical design experience.

Qualifications

• Security clearance requirements incl. BPSS and SC
• BEng (Hons) degree delivered through approved university/ training provider
• Multiple educational routes accepted: GCSEs + A-Levels, IB, BTEC, T Level

Responsibilities

• Support complex defence programmes and contribute to naval and defence projects.
• Develop electrical and mechanical design knowledge and use test equipment.
• Work with experienced engineers and mentors across multiple disciplines.
• Progress to substantive engineering roles after End-Point Assessment.
