Job summary

Siemens Mobility Limited in the UK offers a Level 6 Rail Signalling degree apprenticeship, a 36‑month programme with block release and an End Point Assessment at London South Bank University. You’ll work toward a permanent role on successful completion.

You’ll design, implement, test, install and maintain signalling and control systems, contribute to UK rail projects, and pursue EngTech while developing core railway engineering skills.

Qualifications

• A Levels BBB including Mathematics and/or Physical Sciences (120 UCAS points).
• Level 3 Rail Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• GCSEs: 5 subjects at A-C including Maths and English.
• Mathematics and Physical Science subjects emphasized.
• Willingness to self-learn and research.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build practical engineering skills by designing, implementing, testing, installing and maintaining signalling and control systems.
• Support development and delivery of signalling and control solutions across the UK rail network.
• Grow professionally by building evidence towards EngTech and other registrations.
