Job summary

Siemens Mobility offers a Degree Apprentice (Level 6) programme in the UK, combining hands-on engineering with formal training across signalling and control systems. The role is set for a 36‑month duration with an End Point Assessment, block release study, and a path toward a permanent position upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs with Maths and English (A-C).
• Level 3 Rail Engineering Apprenticeship or BTEC Diploma in Engineering.
• Access to HE qualifications with strong Maths/Physics.
• Equivalent Level 3 with Mathematics & Physics UCAS points.
• Willingness to self‑learn and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Build practical engineering skills in signalling and control systems.
• Participate in live projects while studying; learn industry standards.
• Develop, test, install and maintain railway signalling solutions across the UK.
