Job summary

Modis International Ltd in Stevenage is seeking a Desktop C# Software Engineer with hardware integration experience for a long-term contract. The role involves developing world-class defence simulations using C#, C++, and integration technologies, in a multi-disciplinary Agile team.

You will work with simulation standards and digital twins to deliver end-to-end representations of weapon systems, supporting verification, validation, and training across real and synthetic environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and C++ development.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to translate high level system views into technical detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop simulations and representations of weapon systems in a synthetic environment using C#, C++, and integration simulations.
• Collaborate with Project Leads and Simulation Architects to design components for end-to-end representations.
• Work within a heterogeneous agile team of engineers to deliver simulations and live equipment models.
• Maintain configuration control and participate in CI/CD processes.
• Conduct unit testing and champion test-driven development.
