Job summary

Akkodis seeks a software engineer to help develop the world's most advanced defence system simulations. You will work on end-to-end representations of weapon systems using C# and C++, integrating simulations and emulators within a heterogeneous agile team.

You will apply CI/CD, unit testing, and test-driven development across Windows and Linux environments, contributing to verification, validation, and training capabilities in a defence context.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and C++ for simulation components.
• Ability to move from high-level system view to technical detail.
• Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop simulation components in C# and C++ to model weapon systems.
• Collaborate with Project Leads and Simulation Architects in an agile team.
• Apply software development practices: configuration control, CI/CD, unit testing, and TDD.
• Support integration of real products, models and synthetic environments for validation and training.
