Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a PCB Design Engineer for a six-month contract in Cowes. You will develop complex PCB designs from initial concepts through to manufacturing data packs as part of a small engineering team.

Requirements include significant PCB design experience in defence, proficiency with Cadence Allegro, and knowledge of EMC/WMI design. BPSS/SC clearance is required and ITAR restrictions apply.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in PCB design engineering, preferably in defence environments.
• Proficient use of Cadence Allegro toolset is essential.
• Strong knowledge of PCB EMC and WMI design, testing and qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex PCB designs from concept to manufacturing data packs.
• Create large, multi-layer, multi-substrate PCB layouts.
• Design for controlled impedance, high-speed digital, RF, and mixed-signal PCBs.
