Job summary

HF Scotland is recruiting a Litigation Solicitor to join the Defender Insurance Team, handling pre-litigation and litigated defender matters for major insurers. You will work from Glasgow/Edinburgh with hybrid working and a busy, supportive team in a high-profile practice.

You will develop advocacy skills, review evidence, draft pleadings, and manage a varied caseload across personal injury, motor, and liability claims, with opportunities to progress within a growing firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied and engaging caseload through our case management system on defender matters.
• Support Partners by reviewing evidence, drafting correspondence and pleadings, and ensuring exceptional service.
• Develop advocacy skills through internal and external training to present cases in Court where appropriate.
