Job summary

NP Aerospace is seeking 10 Vehicle Technicians to join its Coventry team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract with potential extensions. You will assemble and test military vehicle systems, ensuring safety and quality to high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires City & Guilds Level 3, experience in mechanical fitting, and the ability to read engineering drawings. AI tools experience is encouraged; generous benefits and a pension are included.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Automotive, Mechanical, or Vehicle Systems.
• Experience in mechanical fitting or low-volume vehicle assembly.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly and integration of mechanical and electrical systems on defence vehicles.
• Fit sub-systems to precise tolerances using technical drawings and instructions.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and R&D to drive lean improvements.
• Adopt AI tools where appropriate to improve efficiency and quality.
