Job summary

Amey in the United Kingdom is seeking experienced technicians to work on an advanced fleet of state-of-the-art military vehicles and defence equipment. You will receive full technical and military training and join a team that values practical, hands-on engineering across automotive, heavy-vehicle and plant backgrounds.

Your role includes servicing, repairing, diagnosing faults and performing preventative maintenance to keep equipment ready for operations.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing or repairing vehicles, machinery or mobile equipment.
• Practical workshop experience in automotive/plant environments.
• Knowledge of hydraulic or electrical systems would be beneficial; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing military vehicles, plant and material-handling equipment.
• Completing planned and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Investigating breakdowns and carrying out repairs.
