Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Driver at Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, to support the safe movement, storage, inspection and basic maintenance of military vehicles within a busy logistics operation.

You will transport vehicles on site, load/unload equipment, perform basic checks, and maintain accurate records while adhering to health and safety standards. A full UK driving licence is required, with MoD experience desirable.

Qualifications

• IT literate with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to changing operational requirements

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles and assets safely across the site
• Load and unload vehicles and equipment in line with operational requirements
• Carry out basic vehicle maintenance checks, including oil and fluid inspections
• Support vehicle storage operations and maintain the condition of assets
• Report faults and maintain accurate records and documentation
