Job summary

Babcock is hiring a Driver at Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, to move, store and inspect military vehicles as part of a busy logistics operation.

You will ensure assets are available and compliant with safety standards, carrying out basic maintenance and record-keeping while working a 37-hour week on-site. The role offers progression within a defence-focused organisation and security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Experience in vehicle logistics, fleet management or MoD environment is desirable.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles and assets safely across the site.
• Load and unload vehicles and equipment per operations.
• Carry out basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil/fluids).
• Support vehicle storage operations and asset condition monitoring.
• Report faults and maintain records and documentation.
