Job summary

QinetiQ in Farnborough is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical support to projects underpinning UK Defence Test, Trials, Training and Evaluation (T3E).

You will lead your own tasks within the V-cycle, deliver engineering artefacts on time and to budget, and collaborate with Senior Engineers and Project Managers on diverse programmes. Eligibility for SC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in a relevant technical discipline.
• Eligibility for SC clearance.
• Aptitude in systems engineering across INCOSE competencies.
• Experience delivering projects end-to-end.
• Ability to work with project managers and senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Work across the V-cycle from requirements to certification.
• Deliver own tasks to time, cost and quality with PM support.
• Act as technical contact across projects.
• Develop knowledge of systems and technologies.
• Produce engineering artefacts through lifecycle with senior support.
