Job summary

KBR, Inc. in the UK is seeking a Technical Director for Defence Nuclear Technology Solutions (DNTS).

You will be the senior technical authority across defence, nuclear and public sector missions, directing strategy, architecture and delivery assurance. Reporting to DNTS leadership within Mission Technology Solutions, you will shape technical direction, influence investment, and enable delivery success, customer confidence and competitive differentiation as the CTO‑equivalent.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of defence/ security environments and standards.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive technical strategy and architecture for DNTS (UK).
• Provide hands‑on senior technical leadership across complex programmes.
• Lead governance, assurance and risk management for mission critical systems.
• Influence investment decisions and balance innovation with delivery realism.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to reinforce technical credibility.
