Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a General Service Assistant to join our Defence team at Glencorse Barracks, Penicuik. The role is permanent part-time, 16 hours per week with shifts between 06:00 and 18:30, giving you evenings free.

Expect frontline and back-end duties, from serving and tills to maintaining cleanliness and supporting the kitchen and service teams. This position offers on-site responsibilities at Glencorse Barracks with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service or food service experience is a plus (but full training provided)
• Must be 18+
• Eligible to work in the UK and have lived here for 3+ years (security checks required)

Responsibilities

• Serving food and drinks with a smile
• Operating tills and handling payments
• Setting up counters and cleaning all areas front and back of house
• Supporting kitchen and service teams to deliver exceptional experiences
• Preparation of any other public facing areas as required
• Undertake relevant training as required of all aspects of the role, including working towards your Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.
