Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a General Service Assistant at Alexander Barracks, Pirbright. The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) across 5 days, including some weekends, with shifts from 0600–1330 and 1230–2000.

You’ll deliver friendly service, support food operations, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for servicemembers and visitors. We offer parking, benefits app access, generous holiday, pension and life assurance, plus clear pathways for development and training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
• Food hygiene certificate - Level 2 desirable; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers.
• Clean back of house areas, crockery, and cutlery.
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, preparation, and public areas.
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services.
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise.
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the work.
• Perform daily paperwork.
• Keeps diligent records as required.
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.
